Academic Calendar 2026
Cohort In-Take & Session Start Dates
AIU utilizes a cohort-based entry system. While learning is self-paced, students begin their journey alongside a community of peers (a “Cohort”) to foster collaborative “Kingdom Leadership.”

|---|---|---|
| Genesis Cohort | April 6, 2026 | Spring Session |
| Exodus Cohort | July 6, 2026 | Summer Session |
| Leviticus Cohort | August 24, 2026 | Late Summer Session |

| Joshua Cohort | December 7, 2026 | Winter Session |
Instructional Delivery Model
At AIU, we disrupt traditional higher education by removing the barriers of time and space.
- Pre-Ordered Lectures: All lectures are professionally recorded and “pre-ordered” for your curriculum. They are available 24/7 via our online student portal at www.aiucollege.org via our YouTube channel
- Self-Paced Modules: Course modules are designed for the modern “Marketplace Champion.” Students have the flexibility to accelerate through material they master quickly or spend more time on complex concepts, ensuring true competency (“Show, Don’t Tell”).
- Continuous Access: Once a cohort begins, all digital resources, libraries, and modular assignments are unlocked immediately.
Examination & Assessment Policy
To maintain the highest academic standards and integrity, AIU utilizes a Proctored Final Exam system.
- Cohort-Based Scheduling: Standardized exam windows will be announced for each cohort toward the end of their typical session duration.
- Individual Basis: Students who demonstrate accelerated mastery through the self-paced modules may request an Individual Proctored Exam prior to the cohort window, subject to Dean approval.
- Proctoring Requirements: All final exams must be completed through AIU’s secure, proctored digital environment to ensure the validity of the degree or certificate.
Key Academic Milestones (Per Cohort)
- Orientation Week: The 7 days leading up to the Start Date (Digital Onboarding).
- Add/Drop Period: The first 14 days of the session.
- Mid-Modular Review: Self-assessment checks built into each module to track progress.
- Final Project/Exam Window: Announced 3 weeks prior to the conclusion of the module.
